The benefit from doing online therapy is you can take the therapist to any location, whether that is sitting at the kitchen table, in the school library, at the park or under the bed. Therapy can be adapted to meet the clients needs including location and environment.
Pronounce Speech Pathology provides sessions outside of typical work hours
Yes. Pronounce Speech Pathology recognizes the challenges of taking children out of school to see therapists. Pronounce Speech Pathology offers sessions before 9am and after 5pm
Yes. having people who support you in your session, is a great way to help boost comfort levels, assist with tricky questions, help with home tasks and assist with building education.
Children under 8 years of age must have a guardian sitting next to them during their session. Children under 16 years of age must have a guardian sitting within ear shot of their session. Individuals 16 years and over can attend their session by themselves or with others.

You are able to access a Medicare rebate if you are accessing a Care Program through your GP. You may also be eligible to a rebate through your Private Health Fund.
The duration of all sessions is 1hr unless requested otherwise.
You have full control over the length in time you have sessions at Pronounce Speech Pathology. Your Therapist will provide a recommendation based on individual needs, however it is your choice when to start or stop therapy supports.
Evidence based practice means that all therapy techniques used at Pronounce Speech Pathology can be supported by research conducted in the field of Speech Pathology, the techniques are support by the Speech Pathology Australia Association and deemed best practice for your individual goal.
General answer is yes, there will often be home tasks to implement and practice outside of sessions to assist with upkeep of skills and progression in therapy. Although this is best practice it is not mandatory to access services at Pronounce Speech Pathology. We all have busy lives, and we all experience unexpected surprises during the week. Open discussions with your therapist about what you can fit in is the best way to set up your individual therapy expectations.
Across Australia there are different time zones. To account for the difference between time zones.
Pronounce Speech Pathology consistently runs according to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
What happens if I am from NSW, VIC, Tasmania or ACT?
If you are form the above states your time zone follows Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) for half of the year, the remainder half is Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). During Daylight savings, your session time may be altered by +1hr.
For example, you live in Victoria and your session is at 3:30pm (AEST), during Daylight savings your session will be at 4:30pm Victorian time (AEDT).
In your session prior to Daylight savings, you will be reminded of the above. You will also receive a text message reminder the day of your first session during Daylight savings.
Where possible, you will be given the option to move your session time to aim to be the same time during and outside of Daylight savings.
